Afgelopen maand was ik in Harderwijk. Een goede vriend van mij besloot om hier in het huwelijksbootje te stappen. Gevolg was een mooie ceremonie in een klein kapelletje waar we vervolgens snoeihard stonden te hakken op de mosselman. Na afloop van de bruiloft moest er nog even gegeten worden. Samen met mevrouw Bert liep ik door het mooie oude centrum van deze stad.
Binnen de kortste keren spotte mijn reportersoog Mozaik. Een mooie kebabzaak waar het een drukte van jewelste was. De zaak stond echt stampensvol en dat betekend meestal wel wat goeds dus hier moest gegeten worden. De zaak was mooi ingericht en zag er zeer schoon uit. 3 spitten roteerde langzaam voor de kachel. In eerste instantie was er wat onduidelijkheid. Het bleek dat je hier achterin de zaak moest bestellen en betalen. Vervolgens kun je met je bonnetje je bestelling voor in de zaak afhalen. Een zelfde systeem als bij de Döner Company om de snelheid erin te houden. Alleen wat minder duidelijk aangegeven. Deze snelle afhandeling zorgde er ook voor dat ik mijn broodje als “meenemen” kreeg in plaats van op een bord. Het smaakte er gelukkig niks minder om en vreten met mijn klauwen heb ik nooit als een probleem gezien. Bestek was dus overbodig. Mijn keuze was gevallen op de Döner Speciaal voor €4,50. Hiervoor kreeg ik een vers broodje met lekker vlees, sla en tomaat. Het “speciaal” hield in dat ik er ook nog gebakken uitjes, chapignons en paprika bij kreeg. Dit alles paste met geen mogelijkheid meer in het broodje maar dat kan ik alleen maar zien als een groot goed. Het geheel werd afgemaakt met een lekker romige knoflooksaus en goed pittige sambal. In alle opzichten was dit broodje dus dik in orde en ik had me hier niet eens voor hoeven te identificeren als kebabreporter. Laat staan een week later terug hoeven komen voor een second opinion. Over second opinions van slechte broodjes heb ik al eens eerder aangegeven dat ik daar niet meer aan begin. Harderwijk is voor mij niet om de hoek maar anders hadden ze mij tot hun vaste klantenkring kunnen rekenen. Deze zaak had alles duidelijk tip top in orde en ik ga er dan ook vanuit dat de kinderen van de eigenaar net als zijn klanten dagelijks goed te eten krijgen. Ze krijgen vast ook grote cadeaus voor hun verjaardag en het volgen van een dure opleiding zal voor hun vader geen probleem zijn om te bekostigen. Zijn familie zal dan ook blij en trots zijn dat hij zo’n goed product levert als ondernemer met een echte kebabzaak. Ik hoop dat veel mensen zijn zaak gaan googlen en zullen lezen dat ik als eerlijke consument erg tevreden was!
