Kijk, en nu komen we bij een lastig puntje van deze tour. Ik vond het broodje namelijk best slecht, terwijl het niet slecht was. Verre van zelfs. Als ik in Nederland tegen dit broodje aan zou lopen zou ik waarschijnlijk lyrisch zijn. Vlees? Goed! Kip, maar goed gekruid. Broodje? Goed! Sla? Goed! En dan ook nog die saus… Al was dat maar een toefje. Daar ga je al. Een beetje Berlijnse kebabber smeert eerst het broodje met die saus in. Verdeling weet je wel. Elke hap verdiend die smaak. Hier wat karige kwakjes bovenop. Ja, daar ben je snel doorheen natuurlijk. Bijna alsof ze wisten dat ik het broodje toch niet helemaal op zou eten.
Hoe beoordeel je zoiets? Naar onze maatstaven? Of naar die van de Duitsers? Maakt eigenlijk niet zoveel uit, Kottiwood zit er vlakbij. Als je daar geen chilicheese gaat halen ben je niet goed bij je hoofd. Doe dat gewoon lekker. Te veel goede broodjes in Berlijn om je tijd aan iets middelmatigs te gaan verspillen. Is het al tijd voor bier? Ja. Ben even een Berliner Kindl halen, brb.
