Alanya Diner…
Het moest er een keer van gaan komen dat ik deze tent ging recenseren. Zo´n 2 jaar heb ik namelijk vrijwel tegenover deze tent gewoond wat uiteraard resulteerde in meerdere bezoeken per week. We hebben het hier over Alanya en er werd vrijwel dagelijks naar binnen gelopen voor de lunch, late lunch, avondeten, na het stappen voor het dronken Alanya Diner of gewoon wegens gebrek aan bier. Had dit te maken met de extreem goede kebab die hier verkocht word? Nee, ze verkopen hier goed voer maar de daadwerkelijke reden is toch een combinatie tussen de korte afstand vanaf mijn voordeur en mijn aangeboren luiheid.
Vandaag was ik weer eens in de buurt en besloot samen met mijn partners in crime dat het tijd werd voor de recensie. Deze toko is gelegen op de hoek aan het begin van de vleutenseweg recht tegenover coffeeshop Shabab. Het is een kleine zaak en bied plaats aan zo’n 15 personen. De inrichting is saai maar schoon en een groot pluspunt is de aanwezigheid van een toilet. Vreemd vind ik alleen het onafgewerkte kozijn met deur in het midden van de zaak. Het oogt alsof het rookverbod is ingegaan en dit een coffeeshop is maar ik denk dat het een scheiding moet zijn tussen de mensen die alleen komen halen en de mensen die binnen willen eten. Aangezien ze altijd tot ver in de ochtend open zijn komt er flink wat dronken volk binnen stappen maar deze houd je niet weg met een openstaande deur in je 8 vierkante meter toko. En als je de mensen die je de zaak uitstuurt de volgende dag weer vriendelijk binnen vraagt werkt het nog minder… maargoed
Ik bestel een broodje voor 3,50. Maat nr 1 besteld een durum en een shoarmapizza. Maat nr 2 heeft geen honger en geniet van zijn meegebrachte Jupiler. Iets waar overigens niet moeilijk over wordt gedaan. Zo ook het binnen drinken van de daar gekochte blikjes bier. Eigenlijk zijn deze namelijk alleen voor de meeneem heb ik wel eens vernomen. Binnen de kortste keren staat er een goed broodje voor mijn neus. In verband met nutteloos geouwehoer heb ik helaas niets van de bereiding meegekregen maar goed.. Er kan gegeten worden. Het broodje was goed geroosterd en zat vol met vlees. Groenvoer was de standaard sla, tomaat, komkommer en wat rode ui. Knoflook en Sambal wordt in mooie spuitflessen voor je neus gezet zodat deze overvloedig kunnen stromen.
Ja, dit smaakte weer goed. Het was alweer een tijdje geleden dat ik hier voor het laatst was geweest maar het maken van standaard goede broodjes kebab waren ze niet verleerd. Extra tip voor mensen in de buurt is het halen van een broodje na een gewonnen wedstrijd van Turkije op een EK of WK. Je broodje wordt dan 3 dubbel belegd en je kunt er zelfs een sixpack bij krijgen tegen de droge mond.
