World’s Most Expensive Kebab $1220
For those in the elitist foodie category, Andy Bates has added the most sumptuous kebabs to the already extended list of most expensive food items. After savoring the world’s most expensive sushi or slurping the plush bowl of AnQi Pho the foodies should gear up for ‘King of Kebabs’.
The dish that initially comprised of a humble donor now includes saffron infused flat bread, milk fed lamb from the Pyrenees and edible Gold to bring it into the category of extravagant food items. Microcress and lettuce salad and Barrel Aged Yews Feta Cheese add to the flavor of the kebab. The key ingredients like Chili sauce derived from the World’s most expensive chili and the champagne infused mint and cucumber yoghurt doubles the cost of the kebab. The kebab estimated at US$1220 is completed with edible gold leaf garnish.
Andy Bates, the chef and the creator of the ultimate kebab, enjoyed every minute of the kebab creation. The kebab characterizes the opening of the Great Food Truck Race. This season of the Great Food Truck Race would see eight new trucks cruising from Boston to San Diego with whooping prize money of $100,000 at stake.
