Enkele weken geleden nam journalist-in-opkomst Vincent Frequin contact op met ons om te vragen hoe wij nou dachten over het door de media overhypte ‘broodje poep’. Uiteraard kreeg hij het antwoord wat iedereen van ons kan krijgen: ‘we hebben er schijt aan’. Gelukkig hebben we medestanders, waar hij en Rosa Marijnen een keurig artikel over schreven (nu maar hopen dat er niet teveel E. coli op die veer in hun reet komt.). De conclusie die Frequin en Marijnen deden: het originele persbericht bevatte geen context, de meeste journalisten doen niet aan fact checking, ze nemen klakkeloos elkaars woorden over en overdrijven voor sensatie. Schokkend. Zullen we dan maar gewoon lekker kebab blijven eten?

in den haag had je in de jaren 90 een bekende shoarmazaak ( de nijl op de laan van meerdervoort) waar ook het verhaal over rondging dat er sperma door de knoflooksaus zou hebben gezeten….was uiteraard niks van waar volgens de eigenaren, maar na inspectie was die tent ineens wel gesloten en nooit meer open gegaan….nu zegt dat natuurlijk niet direct dat het spermaverhaal waar is, maar zeker weten zullen we het nooit.
