Gisteren was ik in Eindhoven, op industrieterrein “De Hurk” staat Frituur Snackcorner, Memmeth en Mohammed zwaaien daar de scepter.
Niet alleen bedienen ze de diverse bedrijven op het industrieterrein, maar ook de bezoekers van het naastgelegen kleine winkelcentrum zijn graag geziene klanten.
Één straat verder heb ik er m’n opslagplaats, dus ik passeer er regelmatig als ik voor m’n werk naar het zuiden van het land moet.
En ik mag wel zeggen dat ik er een regelmatige klant ben.
Dus ik denk, hee, waarom geen review maken voor de Kebabreporters……..
En hoewel er buiten een billboard staat van Karmez Döner (www.karmez.com) hangt er in deze tent één rol (gehaktdöner) van Paktas Döner, (www.paktas.nl).
Het is een uurtje of twee, dus gelukkig ruim na de schafttijd drukte, want rond het middaguur gebeurt het regelmatig dat je door de drukte buiten moet wachten.
Ik ben op dat moment de enigste klant, maar eigenlijk direct na mij komen er nog een viertal klanten binnenvallen.
Nou, een broodje bestellen dan maar, de döner wordt vers van de rol gesneden, maar een au bain marie is ook aanwezig, als het druk is dan wordt er
een voorraadje warm gehouden, nu echter krijg ik het rechtstreeks van de rol.
het Turk broodje wordt in de contactgrill warm gemaakt, de sla, komkommer, ui, enz. is vers en lekker klein gesneden (ik ben niet zo van de grote stukken groente)
Memmeth is niet bepaald krenterig met het vullen van z’n broodjes en de volgorde waarin hij m’n broodje vult is prima, eerst het nodige afsnijdsel van de rol, e.e.a aan saus
(ja, Memmeth alles erop en eraan) wat sla en andere accessoires, weer wat vlees, nog wat saus en klaar is m’n lunch.
De Paktas döner onderscheid zich niet van ander döners, dus is goed te pruimen, maar exceleert niet.
De verdeling is prima, de sla e.d. verser dan vers en de hoeveelheid welke in het broodje gaat is meer dan gemiddeld.
De saus, (knoflook en sambal) worden door m’n smaakpapillen goed geaccepteerd, maar ook hier geen uitschieters.
Eventueel extra saus kan je, als je er om vraagt zonder problemen krijgen (in de vertrouwde gele en rode knijpflessen)
De prijs voor dit alles is € 4.00, niet de goedkoopste, maar voor dit geld krijg je wel een fors gevuld broodje.
De snackcorner is klein, zitten kan je er alleen op een paar barkrukken of bij mooi weer buiten.
Naast de kebab kan ja ook terecht voor een durum, kapsalon, schotel en de diverse “Nederlandse” snacks zoals kroket, fricandel enz.
Frituur Snackcorner is gevestigd aan het begin van de Hurksestraat, afslag 31 op de N2 (parallel aan de A2) op Industrieterrein “de Hurk”
De openingstijden zijn alleen overdag, omdat er uiteraard ’s avonds niet veel te doen is op op het industrieterrein.
Met een gevulde maag kon ik m’n weg weer vervolgen.
