Afijn, we gingen dus een weekendje weg om wat werk te verzetten in het buitenland.
Inderdaad, werk verzetten, niks geen leisure, niks geen kaarsverlichte strolls langs dromerige rivieren, nee..
met drie gasten scheten laten in de hotelkamer. Dagen gevuld met vocabulaire pareltjes als ‘wat een flikkers!’ en ‘wat een ballen!’.
Als je testosteron in een plaatje kon vangen, dan was je bij ons op het juiste adres.
Via Hamburg koersten we richting Denemarken.
Nee, ik at geen broodje in Duitsland, we moesten even door.
Eenmaal in Kopenhagen aangeland ging mn kebabalarm voor de zoveelste keer af en rende ik de eerste beste zaak in waar iets te kanen viel.
Oh oh, wat een fout!
Zegt mn maat B.:”deze tent is kut, dit is shoarma”. (wel een GIGANTISCHE ROL daaro, dat wel)
Dus loop ik de tweede zaak in, nu ga ik vreten ook.
Wat een tyfustent joh.
Geen broodjes maar durums, wat ik sowieso al bullshit vind maar goed.
Kom maar op met die handel; we bestellen twee pita’s shoarma en een durum ‘kebab’.
Ach, wat kan ik zeggen?
Het was echt lelijk, er zat kruidnagel in en dat was gewoon helemaal kut.
Dat ding zat stampvol zoals je ziet, maar kom op..het was niet te vreten man.
Kopenhagen centrum, daar bij de Burger King en KFC, in die straat daar…die tweede toko.
NIET HEENGAAN.
NOOIT.
Op dag nummer twee was ik wel toe aan wat te blowen en dat soort crap.
Na een uur of tig werken reden we even langs dat drugsgebeuren daar, Christiania, alwaar leuke lui met stalletjes verschillende soorten drugs aan de man brengen.
Echt ambachtelijk allemaal. Echt landelijk. Echt boer zoekt vrouwerig.
Net buiten het drugsdorp was een tent, de Prinsses Pizzabar, waar we wat kebab bestelden.
Pita’s….tja, het zal wel, ik verwacht niets meer in dit land na die terroristische aanslag op mn papillen gisteren.
Hier smaakt het vlees tenminste naar kebab, da’s in ieder geval al winst.
Ook hebben ze geen nederlandse stijl-sambal, maar iets anders…wel heet ofzo, maar niet..ach zeik niet zo man.
We aten twee broodjes die ons pakweg 35 kronen per stuk kosten, geen idee hoeveel dat is in euro’s.
Beetje sla erin, frisse saus die knoflook moest zijn maar daar net even te licht voor werd bevonden door ons team.
Wel aight dus, geen toppertjeeeeeeee maar een redelijk tentje als je in CPH kankerstoned staat te wezen als toerist.
Iskender kebab, aanradert!
We kwamen er pas na een era achter dat we in de toch-echt-wel nette, blanke wijk zaten qua hotel.
Oké, die wappie gast met die aidsnaald uit zn arm bungelend op de hoek en de afrikaanse hoeren die proberen je mannelijkheid te betasten op straat, ala, die vergeten we even voor het gemak.
Op zaterdag reden we door een gedeelte waar eindelijk regular allochtonen op straat liepen, dus hier moet wel goed te vreten zijn!
Oh oh oh, wat zien ik!!?
Een grote zaak vol moslims die gezellie met de familie aan de dis zaten; hier moeten we heen.
Ik zie dat het goed zit en bestel een iskender kebab.
Nee, geen broodje, een heel fucking diner!
Wat kreeg ik?
Een bord dat, mocht het een schilderij zijn, iets heeft van de bekende Pollocks.
Onderop zat brood, in stukjes gehakt zodat het bijna aardappelachtig werd.
daaroverheen…kebab. Een berg kebab.
Leuke frisse groente erbij en een dikke lel creme fraiche ernaast.
Geen alcohol in dez…goh, vreemd.
Nog een leuk feit trouwens; het mooiste meisje dat ik heb mogen aanschouwen tijdens onze trip zat in deze tent te eten met dr hele familie.
Ze leek een beetje op dat mokkel waar John Basilone mee gaat trouwen in Band of Brothers – the Pacific.
Echt een plaatje was het. Echt. Ik heb geloof ik iets met ‘klassieke’ chicks uit oorlogflims…ik vreet Kate Beckinsdale OP in Pearl Harbor, heb die kutfilm geloof ik al tien keer gezien alleen vanwege haar.
Lekker eten, goede service en ook nog eens het beste uitzicht van Denemarken, mooier kan vast wel worden maar op dat moment even niet.
Kortom, conclusies:
-Niet in het centrum eten maar dat weet je, mijn fout om meteen te willen en geen geduld te hebben.
-Ben je knetter in Christiania, haal wat bij de Prinsses of vertel me betere tenten daar in de buurt.
-Loop je toevalligerwijs door de Tagesvej, pak die grote tent mee…de Alanya kebab.
Iskender kebab, 60 kronen, de moeite waard en misschien zit ze er wel. Je weet nooit.
