Na een weekendje Haarlem dat er zwaar inhakte kwam ik dinsdagavond weer thuis.
Nee, ik was nog niet thuis, ik reed op de fiets richting huis.
Mn gedachten gingen uit naar voedsel en het eerste dat me te binnen schoot, was dat ik immens veel trek had in een saoto soep van de surinamer verderop.
Ik sleepte mn vermoeide lijf naar de toko, zette mn boodschappen neer en schoof naar binnen.
Nauwelijks bij kennis mompelde ik tegen het lieve meisje achter de balie: “soep..”
Ze keek me aan met een blik alsof het haar zwaar viel me ook maar IETS te weigeren (ze voelde waarschijnlijk precies aan dat zij me alleen nog kon redden op dat moment, wat niet ver van de waarheid was).
“….sorry, de soep is op” hoorde ik heel zachtjes.
Verslagen als Hilbert die nog een rondje moest, schuifelde ik weer terug naar mn fiets.
Met mn gezicht op standje ‘Teleurgesteld’, trapte ik de laatste energie uit mn lichaam in de vierhonderd hemelsbrede meters naar de veiligheid en warmte van mn bodega.
Wat nu?
Ik kon er nog net een tochtje op het wereldwijde web uitpersen hoewel ik van het idee alleen al zo moe werd dat ik bijna met mn hoofd op mn toetsenbord in slaap viel…weeeeeeeeeer actief doen, laat me toch met rust.
