Ik ga dus een review schrijven over het broodje döner kebab bij de Döner Company op het Centraal Station Tilburg.
Je komt er zo:

Nou, ik was dus gearriveerd bij de Döner Company en liep de zaak binnen. Meteen viel het me al op dat de zaak in tegenstelling tot döner-tenten in het algemeen schoon was, en er verzorgd uitzag. Bij de balie lag in een glazen bak achtereenvolgens: uien, rode kool, rucola, sla, komkommers en tomaten tot kleine stukjes versneden en hete pepers.
Ik bestelde bij de meneer achter de kassa een grote döner kebab (kalfsvlees, het ‘normale’) voor 3.70 euro. Een normale kostte 3.20 euro. Dat ging snel, en hij gaf mijn bestelling door. Binnen een minuut pakte een andere meneer een warm broodje vanonder het ijzer, vulde het rijkelijk met kebab-vlees en vroeg aan mij of ik ‘alles’ erop wilde. Ik ontkende, en koos voor uien, sla en komkommers, met knoflooksaus. Dat was in een wip gebeurd, en ik kon aan het leuke gedeelte beginnen.
Ik kon geen foto maken i.v.m. lastige vragen door vrienden, dus hier een paint.
Ik begon met eten, en het eerste wat ik opmerkte is dat de groenten netjes langs het vlees zaten. Hierdoor at ik niet eerst alleen maar groenten en daarna alleen maar vlees, maar kon ik lange tijd van beide tegelijk genieten. Het vlees was van uitmuntende kwaliteit, en het smolt dan ook verrukkelijk weg op je tong. De komkommers waren overheerlijk, en zorgden samen met de sla voor een ‘frisse bite’. De knoflooksaus was gewoon goed, niets aan toe te voegen.
Het beste broodje wat ik ooit had gegeten. Ik heb in mijn leven al heel wat broodjes döner weggewerkt, maar deze overtrof allemaal, ook die van de Döner Company in Eindhoven.
