Tegenover metro Kottbusser Tor is een soort van rotonde.
Op die rotonde zitten meerdere zaken waar goed te bikken valt, waaronder Tadim en Kottiwood. Tevens wordt dit kekke buurtje gebruikt als uitvalsbasis voor veel luitjes die het gebruik van harde drugs als hobby hebben.
Overal schuifelen de uitgemergelde junkies met werkelijk fantastische koppen rond.
Integratie ten top; allerlei culturen en achtergronden zijn te zien als bijna dode gebruikers.
Ze spreken allen de taal der Verdorvenen; ranzig briefgeld gaat van hand naar hand terwijl ze steeds een meter of tien lopen, stoppen en weer tien meter teruglopen. En dit weer herhalen.

We schoven aan in Tadim, de nummer twee van dat lijstje dat ik gisteren postte.. eens kijken wat erin stond!
‘Tadim is a Kreuzberg institution located right at Kottbusser Tor right among all the other, countless Turkish eateries. This one really stands out though and is also very popular within the Turkish population. They are famous for their delicious Lahmacuns, the “Turkish pizza”, which they make fresh and bake in their clay oven. But they are even more famous for serving a damn good veal Döner. The flatbread at Tadim is close to perfect and probably the best one I know, it’s thin and crisp and amplifies the experience of a light and airy Döner. The salad and the meat are very well proportioned and the sauces enhance the quality of the meat instead of overpowering it. Where the Tadim Döner always convinces me is in terms of texture, it’s crunchy, juicy and everything you want a Döner to be. It’s by far the lightest and freshest Döner I know and just scrapes by the number one position due to inferior meat and sauce quality compared to Imren. But there are some elements I prefer at Tadim though, and I’ve often woken in the middle of the night, dreaming about the perfect Döner: A Tadim bread with Imren meat and sauces and Tadim condiments. One day I will have to turn this dream into reality.’

Ik heb de bereiding volledig aan me voorbij laten gaan omdat ik bier ging halen elders, maar de foto’s laten zien dat het ook qua productie geen misser is.
Standaard groen erop; geen hele berg om gebrek aan vlees te maskeren. Rood uitje erbij.
Ja, dit is een goed broodje kebab. Okeeeeee….het is beter dan standaard. Maar geen Mustafa.
