Omdat ik dacht slim te zijn en mn mond niet wilde verbranden, bestelde ik een zoete salade bij de Thai op de Nieuwmarkt.
Bleek dat een tegenvaller!
Normaliter is die tent topnotch, maar nu leek het nergens naar met die standaard sla op mn bordje.
Gelukkig had het geen enkele invloed op mn humeur verder; de zon scheen, mn vriendin was er en Amsterdam leefde vol geroezemoes na weken vol regen.
Omdat ik niet vol zat door de dis, had ik al meteen de gedachte later een broodje kebab te gaan eten naast de Poort.
Niet de Amsterdamse Poort, maar café de Poort in de Haarlemmerstraat. Even voor de duidelijkheid.
Het viel me al eerder op dat daar een dönertentje was geopend dat we nog niet bezocht hadden.
Na het poolen en bier drinken, stapte ik dan ook naar binnen voor een test.
Het handelt hier om Ovas, een schone zaak waar allerhande Turkse toestanden worden verkocht.
Zolang ze geen lidmaatschappen van de grijze Wolven verpatsen vind ik het best.

Meteen voelde ik het punt waar de focus heen moet; het vlees was aangebrand aan de randen.

Ik moet me inhou…nee, fuck it, ik snap heus wel dat je hier knaken probeert te verdienen. Weet hij veel dat ik elke week bij de buren binnen zit en misschien wel vaker iets zou komen halen ALS het de moeite waard zou zijn.

Dat is ook weer wat overdreven….het was gewoon niet zo speciaal allemaal.
Ik denk dat ik sowieso een pikanto knoflook zou halen verderop of weeeeeer dezelfde kapsalon waar ik nog steeds over moet schrijven op het Haarlemmerplein, daar naast de ABN.
