Gisteren gingen mijn momenteel ietwat loensende vriendin en ik richting Leiden om daar oubollig het rijksmuseum van oudheden te bezoeken. Je kunt in deze toko terecht voor je brood, kebab, turkse pizza, baklava etc. Er hangen 2 goed ogende spitten te draaien en er is keuze uit lam en kip. Uiteraard ga ik voor het lam. Als ik kip had gewild was ik wel naar de Rozengracht gegaan. Je betaald hier 4 euro voor (kip is 3,50) maar alvorens te betalen worden wij verzocht plaats te nemen aan een van de tafeltjes en de vrouw achter de balie komt even later keurig het broodje brengen. Ja, dit was echt een bijzonder goed broodje. Het daarop volgende uur werd ik er met elke boer die ik liet weer aan herinnerd. Echt lekker!
