The saga continues. Toko nummer 9 van de Amsterdamsestraatweg.
Voordat het kerstgevreet los barste ben ik nog even snel een broodje wezen doen. Aan de linkerkant van de straatweg zit Giannis. Je kunt hier ook pizza’s halen maar dan heet de zaak opeens Emmi XL. Het is me niet helemaal duidelijk waar de ene zaak begint en de andere eindigt maar ik gok dat de scheidingslijn ongeveer tussen het spit en de oven is getrokken.
Eenmaal binnen bestelde ik een broodje. Deze werd volgepropt met een grote hoeveelheid vlees. De welbekende sla, tomaat, komkommer, en ui. Daarbovenop ging een grote schep tzatsiki. Vervolgens weer een schep vlees waarover ook nog eens een hoeveelheid knoflooksaus en sambal werd geflest. Vork erin en vreten maar. Ik nam plaats aan een kruk bij het raam en begon voorzichtig het aluminiumfolie wat om te vouwen om bij het eten te komen. Normaal ben ik geen voorstander van een vork bij mijn broodje kebab maar in dit geval was het wel handig. Het broodje was namelijk zo dik belegd dat ik het niet goed voor elkaar kreeg om een hap te nemen waarbij ik zowel de voor als achterkant van het broodje in mijn mond kreeg. Door de hoeveelheid saus was het ook niet echt een goed plan om met mijn vingers te gaan graaien. Na eerst wat vlees geschept te hebben ging het beter en kon ik echt gaan genieten. Want dit broodje was lekker! Het brood was lekker krokant. misschien iets te. Maar niet zo dat het gaat scheuren. Niets om over te gaan zeiken eigenlijk. Het broodje was goed. Het vlees was erg lekker! stevig gekruid, goed gegrild en bovendien erg veel! de knoflook en sambal waren standaard maar vooral de grote schep tzatsiki was ik over te spreken. Al met al een lekker broodje wat goed vulde. Dat mocht ook wel want de prijs bedraagde 5 euro. Dat was dan wel weer jammer.
