Omdat ik laatst tijdens de tour niet in de aller, allerbeste vorm ten tonele verscheen, liep ik rond met nogal wat wrok en gevoelens van rancune.
Nee hoor, het was een kekke dag waar we redelijk spel vertoonden om maar even in die stijl te blijven hangen.
Wat me wel dwarszat; zijn die twee broodjes die ik tot me nam.
Een tour met twee broodjes vind ik eigenlijk geen tour.
Ook neem ik alle dubbelgegeten broodjes in ogenschouw en bedenk me dat er voor een goede tour minimaal twintig zaken in een stad moeten zitten.
Om deze gevoelens van tekortschieten terug te dringen bevond ik me op de fiets op mn vrije dinsdag na die vervelende kerst.
Aan het end van de Jan van Galen begon de tour de vorige keer bij dat witte zaakje….laatst ontdekte ik dat er een nieuwe plaquette aan de gevel hing en kwam daardoor tot de conclusie dat er een andere eigenaar in zou zitten.
Jammer, want dat was een niet verkeerd tentje.
Na het stallen van mn stalen ros betrad ik deze dönerzaak annex snackbar, en bestelde voor drie euro een broodje met alles erop en eraan.
Gelukkig bleek mn vermoeden bewaarheid en zat ik enkele minuten later met een bordje met daarop een contrapsie en een blikje cola aan mn ontbijt.
Contrapsie?
Ja, een ding. Een broodje (klein), een worp ui en sla dat exact als elkaar smaakte, een riedel tomaat en daar ergens onder zat vlees.
Hij zou de saus er al over hebben gedaan, maar ik zie het niet, en erger nog, proef het niet de eerste happen.
Flessen gevraagd en gekregen.
Ik moet zeggen dat de sauzen als je ze direct uit de fles haalt, niet vervelend zijn.
Maar goed, voor saus kom je niet per fiets hier naartoe.
Het vlees was uit een bakkie, weinig smaak, glibberig en weinig.
Het brood was behoorlijk toy; klein maar wel redelijk gebakken.
Er was eigenlijk, om eerlijk te zijn, geen ene reet aan.
