Waarom verschijnen er nou geen nieuwe reports op kebabreporters.com???
Nou, omdat 99% van alle broodjes gewoon bende is in Nederland.
Ik was de login kwijt dit dat, altijd wat. Maar vandaag, nee, vanmorgen dacht ik ineens: ‘Tijd voor een broodje kebab om af te fikken!’.
Lopend door het centrum van Hoofddorp, wilde ik m’n weg naar de middag gladjes laten verlopen door hem te besmeren met iets lekkers. Een broodje gezond? Die Backwerk gasten zijn fucking oplichters die hun komkommer en tomaat zo half uit hun broodjes laten hangen dat je denkt dat die dingen ramvol goodies zitten, terwijl die laffe, gekreukte, komkommer meteen het enige vlokje komkommer is over dat hele ding. Neeheee, daar ga ik mijn dure florijnen niet spenderen!
Een loempia dan? De poging hier een markt neer te zetten op de woensdag is inmiddels ingehaald door de realiteit dat niemand er ene kanker om geeft. Op dat plein staan drie tenten; vis, bende en loempia.
Ik naar die loempia. Komt er net een of andere Douwe Dabbert voor me staan die vier miljard loempia’s bestelt. Daar heb ik geen zin in, dus ik pak m’n shit en verkas weer.
‘Daan’s coffee and more’ wordt het.
Deze eetgelegenheid zit bij de Dirk en een vreselijke oosterse toko waar je niet dood gevonden wil worden. Van die lui met mondkapjes doen daar hun ding. Lui met mondkapjes moet je afschieten. Naar de maan. Op hun fiets.
Ala, Daan’s coffee and more dus. Er is sowieso geen enkele ‘Daan’ te vinden hier. Het is een beetje alsof je een koffiehuis vol rokende Marokkanen binnen wandelt voor een neut omdat er ‘Café Lange Nelis, oud-Amsterdamse gezelligheid’ op de gevel staat. Het KLOPT niet.
Niet getreurd. Ik bestel een broodje kebab nadat ik vaststel dat er geen spit draait hier.
Ze claimt dat er binnen, achter een deur, een spit draait, wat me erg stug lijkt, want hier wordt vooral koffie gedronken door ouwe wijven.
De kebab is kip (goh) en dat is meestal een zwaktebod zoals jullie weten.
Wat moet ik er nou over zeggen joh?
Het was allemaal gewoon….te doen?
Er gebeurde niks in m’n mond.
Het was gewoon warm en knoflooky en soort van oké.
Niks om over naar huis te schrijven.
Er zit trouwens nog een ongereporte tent in Hoofddorp, maar die is echt kanker.
Happie heet die tent. Happie. Alleen al daarvoor zou er een mobiele guillotine moeten worden ingezet. Happie! Die hebben ook zo’n bestel apparaat staan. Waarom? Zodat je niet met die lui hoeft te praten? Ik wil gewoon met m’n bek wat bestellen.
Fuck die dingen.
Nou goed, wat verder?
De laatste jaren teer ik op de broodjes uit Berlijn van de laatste kebabtour. Daarna heb ik nooit meer iets beters gehad qua kebabs. Nu volg ik zo’n gast uit Australië, Spanian heet die dude, een soort ex-crimineel vlogger, die heeft nu net een eigen kebabfranchise geregeld die goed schijnt te zijn, maar omdat het verste dat ik nog wil vliegen de rest van m’n leven pakweg Athene is, zal ik daar nooit geraken. Mocht er iemand naar Sydney gaan, stuur vooral geen bericht? Wel een bericht? Maakt het ene moer uit? (laat wat weten als het echt top is svp).
Nou jongelui, Daan’s coffee and more. Goede service, geen rij, middelmatige kebab zoals overal. Lekkere saus, dat mag gezegd worden.
